Beast from Haunted Cave is a classic 1959 horror-suspense film about an unknown monster dwelling in a cave near a gold mine that threatens the lives of a group of gold thieves during their heist in one winter season in South Dakota. Alexander Ward (Frank Wolff) leads his gang of thieves to steal gold bars from a mining site in Deadwood, South Dakota. He sends Marty (Richard Sinatra), together with a local barmaid (Linne Ahlstrand), to set the bomb in place as a diversion to their plan. Before making it back to their camp, the two meet a spider-like monster that causes the horrifying death of the barmaid, while Marty escapes. The next day, the gang successfully carries out their plan. Due to a snowstorm, they are not able to get out of the place at once, so they are forced to stay in a nearby cabin. Still frightened by his encounter with the monster, Marty tells the gang about it and warns them all that they are being followed as he sees the monster while on their way to the cabin. Everybody thinks that he's getting insane and disregard his story, but it will already too late for them to realize that Mary is right when they encounter the monster who is determined to devour them to their deaths.moreless
