Bed of Roses is a whimsical romantic drama about finding the balance between work, life and love. Take-no-prisoners investment banker Lisa Walker (Mary Stuart Masterson) is totally devoted to her career; her "boyfriend" Danny (Josh Brolin) is really just a longtime friend who helps Lisa hide her inability to fall in love. One day, Lisa receives an unexpected bouquet of roses delivered by widowed florist Lewis Farrell (Christian Slater). The sender wishes to remain anonymous, which intrigues Lisa. As she and Lewis get to know each other, Lisa begins to experience feelings of romantic love for the first time. However, there may be trouble ahead: Lewis is a hopeless romantic who wears his heart on his sleeve, but Lisa is an alpha female who has a seriously difficult time pulling herself away from her office. Both will have to make some difficult compromises if they want their love story to have a happy ending.
