Before the Rains is a 2007 Indian-British drama written by Cathy Rabin and directed by Santosh Sivan. Set in British ruled India in the late 1930s, the film tells the forbidden love story of a British Spice Planter, Henry Moores (Linus Roache), and his lovely house servant, Sanjani (Nandita Das).
