PG-13
Believe is a spine tingling chiller from director Robert Tinnell. Ben (Ricky Mabe) is a teenager who is kicked out of boarding school for playing a ghostly prank on his classmates. He's sent to live with his stern, ill-tempered grandfather (Jan Rubes) who he barely knows. Upon arrival at his grandfather's estate, Ben starts to notice that the house is haunted by the spirit of a woman who wears a red coat. Ben enlists the help of a neighbor, Katherine Winslowe (Elisha Cuthbert) who is also aware of the spirit, to help him find out more about the haunting. Katherine's uncle (Ben Gazzara) forbids his niece from seeing Ben. The teenagers soon figure out that the history of their families may have something to do with the haunting. They work to uncover the deep, hidden secrets that may allow the lady in the red coat to finally rest in peace.
