Beloved Infidel in a 1959 biographical romantic drama based on the life of great American novelist Francis Scott Fitzgerald from the memoirs by Sheilah Graham. Fitzgerald (Gerogry Peck) turns on to alcoholism upon seeing his life lost its order. He is heavily in debt paying for his wife's care, who is institutionalized, and her daughter's tuition who is studying in a private school. As a successful writer, he takes on writing jobs for Hollywood screenplays to pay for his bills, which at that time is one of most lucrative jobs. He then meets Hollywood gossip columnist and aspiring novelist, Sheilah Graham (Deborah Kerr). Graham and Fitzgerald fall in love with each other. To put Fitzgerald back on track, Graham becomes his aid who always tries to curb his alcoholism. While finishing his second novel, "The Love of the Last Tycoon", he suffers a heart attack. And with Graham on his side, Fitzgerald dies peacefully.
