2003
Rating:

Below is a 2002 war-time horror thriller, directed by David Twohy, that follows the crew of the USS Tiger Shark as they encounter otherworldly happenings during what should be a routine mission. The crew is initially dispatched to help with a rescue mission during World War II and after rescuing three survivors, unexplained things begin happening on their own submarine. These issues range from unexplained resistance towards the steering of their vessel to random accidents that begin to happen with frequency. Things come to a head when the crew's leader dies and first officer Brice (Bruce Greenwood) is unexpectedly put in a position where he has to navigate the vessel from both dangerous German military ships and come to some conclusion about the mysterious happenings on his own ship. As the crew becomes increasingly terrified, it becomes clear that otherwordly unexpected visitors have no intentions of letting the crew get home without a fight.
