Bereavement is a 2010 horror film written and directed by Stevan Mena. The film was made as a prequel to his 2004 film Malevolence. Allison (Alexandra Daddario), a beautiful and wayward teenage girl travels to the house of some distant relatives who live on a farm. She plans on staying for awhile as her parents have passed away and she is somewhat abandoned. It is not long before she clues in on some of the peculiarities which take place next door - it appears as though 10-year old Martin Bristol (Spencer List) trains how to kill in the most disturbing manner. Guiding him throughout his training is his even more perverted father Graham (Brett Rickaby). As Allison discovers more about the creepy neighbors, she realizes they have turned their attention towards her family. Can Allison stop the neighbors from slaying her family? One of the best horror films of 2010. Bereavement will leave you trembling in fear of what might happen to Allison and her family.moreless
