Berserk is a 1967 horror film directed by Jim O'Connolly. The film follows Monica Rivers (played by Joan Crawford). Monica is the owner and ringmaster of a traveling circus who will stop at nothing to drawn in larger audiences. Surprisingly when her performers start dying in mysterious murders her profits begin to soar as morbid curiosity brings new audience members. Monica hires a new wire walker named Frank Hawkins (played by Ty Hardin). She is interested in this handsome and muscular young man and they soon begin an affair which angers her previous lover Durando (played by Michel Gough). When Durando is then found dead the other circus performers suspect that Monica herself has been behind the killings. The campy plot gets more and more convoluted when Monica's wayward sixteen year old daughter gets expelled from school and has to join the circus and becomes the partner of Gustavo the knife thrower. Meanwhile the murders continue...
