Best of Times is a comedy-drama film that focuses on one man's struggle to get over a past mistake. Jack Dundee (Robin Williams) is a small town banker and former high school football player for Taft High School. In perhaps one of the most important games of the year against Taft's rival, Bakersfield, Jack dropped a perfectly executed pass and cost his team the game. Since then, Jack has found it hard to get past that mistake. Feeling like his whole life has been a failure, Jack comes up with a plan to help erase that fateful day. He enlists the help of Reno (Kurt Russell), the former quarterback of his team, to re-stage the game. Jack is able to get players from both Taft and Bakersfield to agree to the game. However, Jack soon finds out that not everyone is on his side. Will determination be enough for Jack to win the game and regain his self confidence that has been gone for so long?moreless
