Beverly Hills Chihuahua is a 2008 live-action comedy from Disney with talking dogs on a Mexican adventure. Chloe (Drew Barrymore) is a pampered Chihuahua from Beverly Hills, accustomed to diamonds and furs provided by her owner, Aunt Viv (Jamie Lee Curtis). The glamorous pup pays no attention to Papi (George Lopez), a neighborhood Chihuahua who loves her from afar. When Aunt Viv's niece, Rachel (Piper Perabo), goes to Mexico with Papi's owner, Sam (Manolo Cardona), they accidentally lose Chloe. The bewildered Chloe must make her way through the mean streets of Mexico, and unsavory characters like Manuel the Rat (Cheech Marin) and Chico the Iguana (Paul Rodriguez). Luckily for Chloe, she meets Delgado (Andy Garcia), a former police dog, who becomes her protector and promises to guide her home. Meanwhile, Papi overhears that Chloe is missing and quickly dashes to Mexico to save her with hopes of finally winning her heart.
