Beware! The Blob is a 1972 sequel to the 1958 horror/science fiction film, The Blob. When geologist Chester (Godfrey Cambridge) returns to Los Angeles after working in the North Pole, he brings a strange, frozen substance with him. He places it in his freezer and intends to analyze it later to determine its origin. However, his wife Marian (Marlene Clark) accidentally thaws out the gel, and it manages to seep out of the cannister. The blob soon begins to devour animals and then moves on to humans, becoming bigger after every kill as it swells with blood. When Lisa Clark (Gwynne Gilford) witnesses the blob's murdering spree, she tries to warn the police about it. However, they think that she is delusional and offer her no help. Together, Lisa and her boyfriend, Bobby Hartford (Robert Walker), try to find a way to destroy the blob before it consumes everybody in their town.
