Beyond Redemption is a 1999 American horror film by director Chris Angel, starring Andrew McCarthy, Michael Ironside, Jayne Heitmeyer, Suzy Joachim, and Matthew Laurence. In Beyond Redemption, a serial killer sets his sight on all things holy? In Beyond Redemption, the city's ruthless serial killer has it in for all pious people'priests, nuns, etc. His method operandum? Crucifixion. Detective Henry Smith (Andrew McCarthy) has his work cut out for him in solving the case, apprehending the killer, and saving the city while simultaneously juggling a trying home life with a terminally ill daughter and a very distressed wife (Jane Heitmeyer). When the Detective's own brother (Sean Day Michael) becomes the prime suspect in the murders, however, the race against the clock is on to figure out what is going on. But what happens when even the Detective's colleagues in the lawforce seem to have sinister intentions?
