Movie Summary

Big Top Pee-Wee is a comedic film made in 1988 and the much anticipated cinematic return of the postmodern adult children entertainer, Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens), a.k.a America's favorite man child. Pee-Wee Herman has left his life behind- the whole playhouse gig and that stolen bike adventure... that's all now behind him. Instead, he's taken up farming in a small country town, much to the elderly townsfolk who find him too wacky and bizarre for their simple ways. It's a lonely life, just him, his boring new fiance Winnie and his talking pig, Vance who helps him with weird scientific plant experiments (like a hot dog tree). One day, after a storm, a full blown circus lands onto his yard, animals, freak show, and trapeze artists, one in particular, a beautiful girl named Gina, catches his eye. The Circus life is great! Finally Pee-Wee has found his place in the world and the girl of his dreams! But will the cranky townsfolk ruin his big debut by running them out of the town? And what about that whole love triangle thing? And what current big Hollywood star played "Duke The Dog Faced Boy" as just an unknown? You'll just have to find out for yourself... in Big Top Pee-Wee!moreless
