Bigfoot: The Unforgettable Encounter is a heart-warming, family friendly movie that released in 1994. When Nick (Matt McCoy), a nature photographer, claims he caught a glimpse of Bigfoot (Gary Maloncon) in the Northern California woods, chaos begins as a race of who can capture Bigfoot first ensues. While a group of anthropologists search for Bigfoot for research purposes, a money hungry entrepreneur, Chaz Frederick (David Rasche) gives them a run for their money with a monetary reward for the capturing of the legendary "monster". A little boy, Cody (Zachery Ty Bryan), has the lucky encounter to be rescued by Bigfoot when he finds himself lost in the forest, and it results in a deep friendship between the two unlikely companions. Bigfoot: The Unforgettable Encounter truly depicts what the meaning of pure intentions and true friendship stands for as you are able to witness what lengths people will turn to when money is involved.
