Bigger Than the Sky is a film that concerns Peter Rooker (Marcus Thomas) who leads a hapless life after his girlfriend dumps him and he leaves his dead-end job. Peter winds up in a theater where auditions for the play, Cryano de Bergerac are taking place. On a whim, Peter auditions and lands the lead role of Cyrano. Relishing his new-found success Peter enjoys his theater friends and exciting lifestyle that includes romantic feelings for one of his fellow actors, Grace Hargove (Amy Smart), who plays Roxanne in the production. Michael (John Corbett), another cast member also has eyes for Grace, and the two vie for her attention. Edwina (Clare Higgins) the producer of the show, becomes exasperated as she has to contend with this awkward love triangle while trying to produce the play.
