Biggles: Adventures In Time is a 1986 family science-fiction film based upon the character of Biggles from a series of novels written by Captain W.E. Johns. Jim Ferguson is an unassuming American salesman suddenly transported through time into the middle of an aerial dogfight in 1917 during World War I. Through the course of the story it is learned that Ferguson is the "Time Twin" of ace biplane pilot James 'Biggles' Bigglesworth (Neil Dickson), and they will relocate through space and time to assist each other whenever one of them is facing mortal peril. As Ferguson jaunts back and forth through time and space between the 1980s and 1917, the two men must unite in order to stop prevent the German nation from developing a super sound weapon and altering the course of human history as we know it. However, amid the chaos of battle, Jim must also find the means to explain his sudden disappearances to those around him in the present.moreless
