Black Cloud is a dramatic film brought to you by award-winning actor Rich Schroder in his directorial debut. Set in the American Southwest, the story charts the trials and tribulations of Navajo Indian "Black Cloud" (Eddie Spears) as he struggles to make right in his life. Since his youth, Black Cloud has been plagued with issues. His upbringing was shaky, and he refuses to fully embrace his heritage - which is part German. Black Cloud often turns to his fists when dealing with his issues. A friend of his named Bud (Russell Means) recognizes his talent and invites him to train in a boxing ring. It is not long before a representative from the United States Olympic boxing team approaches Black Cloud and asks him to participate in the Olympics. But Black Cloud has qualms with the offer - he does not want to fight for any other cause than for his people. Black Cloud also gets involved with a girl named Sammi (Julia Jones) who was previously involved with a belligerent man named Eddie Young (Rich Schroder) who is back in town and wishes to reclaim her. Black Cloud is a must-see if you enjoy westerns and dramatic films.moreless
