Black Ops is a movie that was released in May of 2008 that was directed by Roel Reine. The movie is named after a popular term which represents a covert military operation that's usually out of standard protocol. The plot of this thriller follows a band of highly trained Marines. The two main characters Colonel John Willet (Lance Henriksen) and Commander Combs (James Russo) are Marines in the Persian Gulf . Marines Col. John Willet and Commander Combs tragically discover a crew of men in the Persian Gulf who have been brutally murdered. These dead men were part of covert operations ("black ops") while on board a World War-II era battleship that was attacked by terrorists. Now, the surviving Marines are targets of the same killers who took the lives of their teammates. This 2008 film makes us wonder if they will be able to defeat their terrorist enemies or if they will also suffer like their crew did.
