Black Water is a is a harrowing and terrifying tale about a group of vacationers that have their tour of an Australian swamp interrupted by a crocodile. While visiting a swamp in the outskirts of Northern Australia, married couple Grace (Diana Glenn) and Adam (Andy Rodoreda), along with Grace's sister Lee (Maeve Dermody) branch out from the norm, taking a small boat to a rarely visited section of the dense swamplands. Their unconventional outing is just what the doctor ordered, when a crocodile capsizes the boat, and their tour guide Jim (Ben Oxenbould) disappears under the water. The terrified trio manages to swim to safety in a nearby tree, but when they realize that the long and deadly mouth of the crocodile is lurking and waiting for them, Grace, Adam, and Lee begin to suspect they are in for quite a fight. David Nerlich and Andrew Traucki direct this no frills feature in the spirit of Open Water, that is simply scary.moreless
