Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story is an American comedy released on January 1, 2004. It was directed by Brant Sersen and starred Rob Corddry, Paul Scheer, Rob Riggle, Ed Helms, Rob Huebel, Dannah Feinglass, Jack McBrayer and DJ Hazard. Unlike most feature films, the entirety of Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story was improvised by the actors. The story regards a paintball player named Bobby Dukes (Rob Corddry). Once the greatest player in the sport, Dukes is caught cheating during a match by a referee (Paul Scheer). Disgraced, he is exiled to Venezuela where he spends the next ten years of his life out of the limelight. Eventually, however, Dukes decides to return to the world of competitive paintball. Unfortunately, he can't find anyone willing to play with him anymore so he is forced to join with the referee who originally caught him cheating. Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story had a very limited theatrical release. Prior to its release, it won the audience award at the 2004 South by Southwest Film Festival.moreless
