Bled is a 2009 horror movie about vampirism and addiction from director Christopher Hutson. Sai (Sarah Farooqui) is a young, struggling, new age artist, who lives in a downtown loft in New York, which she shares with her friends: musician, Kerra (Michele Morrow), photographer, Royce (Chris Ivan Cevic) and aspiring novelist, Eric (Alex Petrovitch). At an art show, Sai meets Renfield (Jonathan Oldham), a mysterious European man who is fascinated by her dark self-portraits, and invites him back to her loft to meet her friends. At the loft, Renfield introduces Sai and her friends to an ancient drug and, being no stranger to experimental substances, the group ingests the new drug, which puts them in a state of altered consciousness and transports them to a dark dimension. Sai then becomes helplessly addicted to the drug, making her the perfect victim for a sinister being to use as a portal into the earthly world.
