Blonde Ambition is a 2007 romantic comedy directed by Scott Marshal that tells the story of Katie Gregerstitch (Jessica Simpson), a charming girl with great ambitions and pure intentions from a small Oklahoma town, who comes to New York to spend time with her boyfriend. When she finds out that he has been cheating on her with another woman, she decides to stay in the city with her cousin, Haley (Rachael Leigh Cook), to pursue a career in the business world. Her sincerity and charm lead her to a job in a construction company where, without her knowing, she becomes part of a sophisticated plan designed by two of her colleagues to remove the head of a large corporation from power. She also seems to be greatly attracted to Ben (Luke Wilson), a charismatic messenger, and the feelings appear to become mutual.
