Blood and Bone is an all out action film about a former convict that becomes embroiled in the underground fighting scene in Los Angeles. Isaiah Bone (Michael Jai White), one of the most ruthless fighters within prison walls, is now out on the streets, trying to work his way up in the most well known illegal underground fighting syndicate in Los Angeles. With help from low level promoter Pinball (Dante Basco), Bone books a couple of fights, quickly making a name for himself and attracting the attention of big time promoter James (Eamonn Walker). The shady, unquestioned head of the circuit enlists Bone to fight, but as the gritty brawler begins to suspect, might have an agenda in mind for the feared fighter. However, by no means a wide eyed school boy, Bone has an agenda of his own, and just like a game of chess, works his way up to face James' top fighter, The Hammerman (Bob Sapp), calculating and scheming his way to get at what he deems to be the ultimate prize. Ben Ramsey directs this straight up feature loaded with spectacular fight scenes and showcasing stars like Kimbo Slice, Gina Carano, and Ernest "Cat" Miller.moreless
