Blood Beast Terror is a 1968 Victorian era mystery crime horror directed by Vernon Sewell. In the film, a London Inspector Quennel (Peter Cushing) is busy investigating the brutal deaths of several men in the area. The men's bodies are all found badly scratched and drained of blood. A witness statement implicates a monster-like creature who resembles a giant bug. With this bit of information, Inspector Quennel turns to Professor Karl Mallinger (Robert Fleming), an entomologist who studies bugs and their inhabitants. The professor agrees to help with the investigation, but he cannot let the Inspector get too close to his work because he has secrets he is hiding. The scientist is in the midst of conducting experiments on his own daughter, Claire (Wanda Ventham), that turn her back and forth from a beautiful girl to a vampire beast. Will the Inspector catch the killer before any more lives are lost?
