Blood from the Mummy's Tomb, a movie produced by EMI Films and Hammer Film Productions in 1971, chronicles the events that take place after a team of British archaeologists journey to Egypt. The archaeologists uncover the tomb of Egyptian royalty, the wicked Queen Tera. The team take the contents of the tomb back with them to England. Lead archaeologist, Professor Julian Fuchs (Andrew Keir), plucks a beautiful ring from the fingers of Queen Tera's hand and gives this ring to his daughter, Margaret Fuchs (Valerie Leon), as a gift. The tomb, however, has been sealed with a curse so that grave robbers would receive punishment for stealing from the tomb. Eventually, Margaret, after wearing Queen Tera's ring, starts to experience nightmares about her father's Egyptian expedition and even becomes overtaken by Queen Tera's spirit. Margaret, still possessed by the malevolent Queen Tera, begins killing members of the expedition team in an attempt to find the contents of Queen Tera's tomb, so that Queen Tera can restore herself into her mummified body.moreless
