Blood, Guts, Bullets & Octane is a 1998 action comedy about two slick car salesmen named Bob (Dan Leis) and Sid (Joe Carnahan). The two are in financial trouble as their business struggles to stay afloat. One day, things turn around as the two fellows receive an offer of $250,000 to park a 1963 cherry Pontiac on their lot for only two days. But there is a catch, no one can touch the car, not even Bob and Sid. In fact, the trunk of the car is rigged to blow, and snipers have orders to shoot anyone attempting to steal the car. It only takes a little time before Bob and Sid realize this situation seems odd and potentially very dangerous. The vehicle attracts a lot of attention from every possible crooked character looking to get rich by stealing the vintage car. Michael Carnahan directs this action-packed comedy full of suspense that has been compared to some of Quentin Tarantino's films.moreless
