    • Dux: Teach me. I can do it.
Tanaka: You are not Japanese! You are not a Tanaka!
Dux: You taught me, using any technique that works. Never to limit myself to one  To keep an open mind.
      Tanaka: Why?
      Dux: To honor you, Shidoshi.

    • Boxer: Jackson. You gonna go to Hong Kong?
Jackson: I love anything full contact, need a few more scars on my face.

    • Lin: (meeting Frank and Ray for the first time) You Jackson? You look like a Jackson? That would make you Frank Ducks?
Dux: No, no, no. It's Dux.
Lin: Gotcha! Like "put up your dukes," right?

    • Official: (tournament official questions Frank's training by Tanaka.) You don't look like Tanaka.
      Dux: Shidoshi Tanaka trained me.
      Lin: What's the hold-up?
Official: He says Senzo Tanaka is his shidoshi.
Lin: What's the difference if Bruce Springsteen is his shidoshi?

    • Ray Jackson: (Ray walks in on Frank doing the splitz between two chairs.) That hurts me just looking at it.

    • Chong Li: You break my record, now I break you, like I break your friend.

    • Jackson: (just before his match with Chong Li) Time to separate the men from the boys.
Victor: Just be sure Chong Li doesn't separate your head from your body.

    • Jackson: (Dux beats Jackson at a martial arts video game) You like this kind of fighting, huh?
      Dux: Yeah.
Jackson: You want to see some real fighting, you can see me fight at the kumite.
Dux: I'm here, too, for the kumite.
Jackson: Aren't you a little young for full contact?
Dux: Aren't you a little old for video games.
Jackson: You want to go again, huh?
      Dux: Yeah.

    • Jackson: Hey, babe. Want to go out with a real "big man"? No, huh? Too handsome for you, huh, honey?

  • NOTES (9)

    • After Frank Dux smashes the brick, Bolo Yeung's character says "Very good, but brick not hit back".
This is an allusion to the movie Enter the Dragon, where Bruce Lee says "Boards don't hit Back".
