Blowup is a 1966 mystery crime drama revolving around a photographer. Set in turbulent 1960s London, the movie uses the ever-changing backdrop of the city as an extra character in the film. Thomas (David Bailey) is a photographer who finds himself trapped in the middle of a murder mystery. When the movie opens, Thomas works with several models, taking photographs for the shoot. During a break, he wanders into a nearby park and finds a couple arguing heatedly. Jane (Vanessa Redgrave) follows him home and demands that he give back the photos he took earlier in the day. After discovering that the photographs potentially show a dead body near the couple, he decides to investigate the potential crime without the aid of authorities. As the movie progresses, Thomas finds himself caught in the seedy world of London's underbelly. When the photographs mysteriously disappear, Thomas decides he must learn the truth revealed in the images.moreless
