Lena and Eden try to convince Anne Marie to try again when she is invited to an upcoming surf competition, Pipeline. She decides to give it a try and begins training for the event. Meanwhile, Anne Marie meets NFL quarterback, Matt Tollman (Matthew Davis), who is in town for the Rose Bowl.
