Rating:

Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. stars in Boat Trip, in a comedy about two heterosexual best friends as they accidentally find themselves on a cruise for single gay men. Jerry (Gooding) and Nick (Horatio Sanz) take their friends advice to sign up for a singles cruise, but when they anger their travel agent, they get more than they bargained for. Jerry eventually makes the best of the situation by pretending to be gay, hoping to become close with the cruise's dance instructor Gabriella (Roselyn Sanchez). Nick falls in love with a bikini model named Inga (Victoria Silvstedt), but is soon in deep water when he has an affair with Sonya (Lin Shaye), Inga's highly sexual coach. Jerry and Gabriella eventually fall in love, while Nick and Sonya overcome his disgust for her and Sonya is satisfied. Directed by Mort Nathan, Boat Trip was reviled by both critics and audiences, earning 2 Razzie Award nominations for Gooding and Nathan.
