Bob the Butler is a 2005 family comedy starring Tom Green as an unemployed buffoon who takes a job as a butler. Bob Tree (Tom Green) has tried every type of job and failed at all of them. Desperate for any type of paycheck, he signs up with Mr. Butler (Simon Callow), a rigid British gentleman, for training in the art of service. Bob finds employment with a single mom, Anne Jamieson (Brooke Shields), to help look after her children, Tess (Genevieve Buechner) and Bates (Benjamin Smith). With Anne at work most of the time, Bob's very different approach to facing problems helps fashion-conscious Tess, who aspires to be a designer, adapt her too revealing outfits to a more winning style. Bates wants to make the school basketball team, but his short stature makes that difficult until Bob's unorthodox approach helps him see the problem in a new way. When Anne sees her children thriving, she begins to see Bob in a new light.moreless
