Body of Evidence is a 1993 erotic thriller produced by Dino De Laurentiis and directed by Uli Edel. As the film begins, an elderly Andrew Marsh (Michael Forest) is watching himself have sex with Rebecca Carlson (Madonna) in a homemade porno film. Soon after, Marsh is found dead after rough sex leads to erotic asphyxiation. Carlson is accused of murder when it is revealed that she is the sole beneficiary of his eight million dollar estate. Carlson hires attorney Frank Dulaney (Willem Dafoe) to represent her. Soon after, Carson and Dulaney begin a sadomasochistic affair. While Dulaney convinces the jury that Marsh's death was an accident, District Attorney Robert Garrett (Joe Mantegna) is convinced the death was cold-blooded first degree murder. Caught in a web of lies, Dulaney must hide his affair with Carlson from his wife, Sharon (Julianne Moore), and avoid perjuring himself. As Carlson's sexual prowess begins to draw in more and more unsuspecting victims, justice is just one murder away.
