The Bone Snatcher is a 2003 horror film directed by Jason Wulfsohn and starring Scott Bairstow, Rachel Shelley, and Warrick Grier. The film tells the story of Dr. Straker (Bairstow), a Canadian scientist who is employed by a firm that monitors the safety of visitors in dangerous foreign lands. When he is deployed to Namibia to research the disappearance of four prospectors, he discovers the gnawed bones scattered around a rock dome. As they sun goes down, the beast that attacked the prospectors becomes more vicious, killing off members of Straker's team. They flew through the desert, but the bloodthirsty creature is too fast to outrun. The desert sand begins playing tricks on the team, and at any moment they are in danger of being eaten alive by the creature. Straker is only able to rest when he escapes to an abandoned mine, but with an unknown monster hunting him, there is no telling how far it will go to hunt him down.moreless
