Boogeyman is a 2005 horror film that addresses the common childhood fear of something horrible living in your closet. The film follows Tim (Barry Watson), a seemingly normal, twenty-something guy. He's moved on in his life and developing a relationship with his girlfriend Jessica (Tory Mussett). But there is a childhood memory that is starting to tear him apart, a little more each day. When Tim was eight, his father was violently sucked into his closet and never seen or heard from again. Tim has been terrified ever since that the Boogeyman will someday return and take him as he had taken his father. Tim is forced to return to his childhood home and face his fears and patch up family matters with his uncle (Philip Gordon). While home he realizes the Boogeyman is very much present and it is up to Tim, with the help of an old friend named Franny (Skye McCole Bartusiak), to fight and defeat the evil demons that reside within the closets.moreless
