Booogie Woogie is a comedy set in 1960s contemporary London and based on the novel with the same name written by Danny Moynihan. The film revolves around Art Spindle (Danny Huston), who is a British art dealer and gallery owner. He sees an interesting painting entitled the Boogie Woogie and is determined to have it no matter what the cost. The only problem is, he is not the only one who desires the painting and owners Alfred (Christopher Lee) and Alfreda (Joanna Lumley) Rhinegold know how many people want their painting. The owners pit bidders against each other, to drive the price up as high as possible. This game turns into a fast-paced whirl of wheeling and dealing, where many of the bidders will go to unethical and immoral lengths for a chance at the painting. In the end, the bids narrow down to Art and art dealer, Bob Maclestone (Stellan Skarsgard). One of them will become the highest bidder and the other one's life may be ruined forever.moreless
