Border Feud is a 1947 western directed by Ray Taylor. In the town of Mesa City, there is a feud brewing between two mining families, the Hart's and the Condon's. The feud is gaining steam with the help of Jack Barton (Bob Duncan), a crooked local business person who hopes the families will manage to kill each other off, leaving the Blue Girl Gold unattended. His plan is to acquire the mine for his anonymous boss. Local sheriff, Fuzzy Q. Jones (Al St. John), knows the feud is preparing to escalate, but he does not have a plan to stop it from becoming a bloodbath. Due to his fear, the sheriff calls in Marshall Cheyenne Davis (Lash La Rue) to help keep the peace in his city. Marshall Davis arrives in town and seeks out Jack Barton. After gaining Jack's trust, Cheyenne is given the task of inciting the dueling families to kill each other. Can Marshall Davis keep up the charade long enough to squash the feud, or will Jack Barton catch on and punish the undercover Marshall?moreless
