Born in East L.A. is a film that is directed by, written by and stars Cheech Marin. This film is about a Mexican-American man who gets deported to Mexico. Rudy is a Mexican-American man that experiences bad luck when he is at the wrong place at the wrong time. An immigration raid occurs at a factory and everyone is asked for ID. He doesn't have any sort of ID on him to prove that he is a legal resident of the United States. Therefore, he is shipped off to Mexico. Rudy speaks very little Spanish and so he is faced with difficulties when trying to find help or ways to somehow get himself back home in the U.S. He tries desperately to make it back home and finds help from crooked bosses and local authorities. Will Rudy make it back home safely? Watch and find out what happens to Rudy.
