Boxboarders! Is a 2007 teen comedy about two California teens who invent a new sport. Ty Neptune (James Immekus) and James James (Austin Basis) find themselves bored in their Laguna Hills neighborhood until they find inspiration for a new and interesting form of entertainment. They find a refrigerator box in the trash, add some wheels and start careening around the neighborhood. Ty and James name their new "sport" Boxboarding. When the local news reports on their invention, the two former nerds become the most popular kids at school and Boxboarding becomes the hottest activity around town. Spoiled rich kid Alexander Keene (Mitch Eakins) resents their newfound celebrity and potential for making money, so he challenges them to a race. The stakes are the potentially lucrative rights to Boxboard. With MTV interested in covering the event, Ty and James will have to defend their sport from Alexander and fame hungry Tara Rockwell (Michelle Pierce).moreless
