PG-13
Boys and Girls is a 2000 romantic comedy centered around a boy and girl whose lives superficially seem dissimilar and unrelated, but as their story progresses and time elapses, it is hard not to argue that they are meant to be together. The film was directed by Robert Iscove and stars Freddie Prinze Jr. (Freaks and Geeks, I Know What You Did Last Summer, She's All That) and Claire Forlanin (Meet Joe Black, The Rock, Antitrust). Ryan (Freddie Prinz Jr.) and Jennifer (Claire Forlani) have known each other since they were teenagers. They reconnect as young adults in college, but they couldn't be more unlike one another. Ryan, for example, is an astute student who cares about his degree. Jennifer, on the other hand, focuses more on her social life. Without much explanation, Ryan and Jennifer decide to sleep together. They are both confused as to how they feel towards one another after graduating. Ryan is ready to settle down, but Jennifer plans on traveling abroad. Will they end up together, or is it best they go their separate ways?moreless
