Kate Wooten (Sydney Walsh), a LA real estate agent, is happy to help Vlad with his request. She realizes there is something secretive about him, but she does not know he is a vampire. Quickly, the two fall helplessly in love. For Vlad, this is the first time he has ever truly fallen in love with a human. Celia Kett (Amanda Wyss), Kate's roommate, is also attracted to Vlad.
