Brannigan is an action film that follows the story of a man's troubles in London as he attempts to find a criminal. Jim Brannigan (John Wayne) is a no-nonsense Chicago cop who goes to London in order to find and extradite a gangster, Ben Larkin (John Vernon). Upon arriving in London, he learns that a local police officer, Jennifer (Judy Geeson), is assigned to assist him in his search. The cultural differences between England and the United States are shocking to Jim, and he must learn how to adapt to the way the British police work. Commander Swan (Richard Attenborough) is a British detective who is assigned to the Larkin Case. He and Jim do not get along due to Jim's controversial methods of work. Meanwhile, Jim learns that Ben has been kidnapped and that he has put a contract out on Jim so that he cannot extradite him back to the United States. Follow Jim as he travels throughout London in hopes of capturing Ben Larkin.moreless
