Breaking Dawn is a 2004 suspense film written and directed by Mark Edwin Robinson. The film focuses on an ambitious young medical student named Eve (Kelly Overton). The story begins Eve's assignment to a psychiatric hospital, where she is in charge of treating murderer Don Wake (James Haven). Don Wake has been in the facility since he was discovered at the scene of his mother's murder, where the local authorities found him soaked in blood beside his mother's corpse. She expects little from the catatonic patient, and sees no information reason to believe his constant mumbling. However, he soon begins to tell her about a man, whom he refers to as Malachi, that intends to hurt her. She dismisses his warnings, but starts to get the feeling that she is being watched. Eve begins to doubt the assumption that Wake killed his mother is true, a problem that is only complicated when he begs her to help him escape so that the truth about his mother's murder can be revealed.
