Brokeback Mountain is the acclaimed love story from director Ang Lee (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Hulk) which broke movie conventions and showcased the romance between two cowboys in Wyoming over several years. Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight, The Brothers Grimm) and Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal, The Day After Tomorrow, Zodiac, Prince of Persia) meet one day at the office of Joe Aguirre (Randy Quaid, Kingpin, Independence Day) looking for work and find it guarding sheep on Brokeback Mountain. A mutual attraction develops between them on the majestic slopes and they soon find themselves embroiled in a romance that will test 1960s societal conventions as well as their respective home lives. When their time on Brokeback ends, they part to their respective lives ' Ennis with his sweetheart Alma (Michelle Williams, Blue Valentine, Dawson's Creek) and Jack with his new bride Lureen (Anne Hathaway, The Princess Diaries) ' but they struggle in the interim of the rest of their lives to steal whatever time they can together.
