Brooklyn Bound is a gritty 2004 crime drama about a New York drug dealer reconsidering his life choices. Growing up in the Brooklyn housing projects, Sean (Tommy Guiffre) did not have many choices beyond selling drugs. His small operation has paid for his mentally ill mother (Christie Sanford) and kept his younger brother, Keith (David Ley), off the streets. In spite of keeping ahead of the police, Sean's precarious existence begins to fall apart. His mother's condition worsens, his girlfriend, Kim (Nikki Arlyn) dumps him, and his best friend, Rob (Christopher Amitrano), desperately needs his help because of a loan from a card shark. Then, Sean discovers that Keith has been selling marijuana and following in his footsteps. Believing that his good luck has run out, Sean decides to get out of the business with one last score to fund his family going legit. Director Rich Devaney based the film on his adolescence in Williamsburg.
