Brooklyn's Finest is a 2009 action crime/drama directed by Antoine Fuqua. The film follows three unconnected Brooklyn cops through one week. The first police officer is Eddie Dugan (Richard Gere), he is a beat cop who has lost all respect for the job. He is one week away from retiring and trying to get through his last days. The second cop is Sal Procida (Ethan Hawke) who is a Catholic father of seven with an ill wife. Sal's predicament has blurred the line between right and wrong. He desperately needs a huge down payment for his big family and is willing to do anything to meet that need. The final police officer is Clarence "Tango" Butler (Don Cheadle). Clarence is in a really bad place psychologically, he has been undercover so long that he feels he has lost part of himself. He begs for a desk job to preserve what is left of himself and given a nearly impossible task to achieve this goal. These three unconnected cops collide on one fateful night and none of them is ever the same.moreless
