Brothers: On Holy Ground is a documentary about the firefighters who were called to the World Trade Center on 9/11. Mike Lemon, a retired firefighter who attended some film classes at New School University, directs the film. Interview subjects include a number of firefighters who candidly recount their thoughts about that day, as well as a few 9/11 widows and other residents of Manhattan. Tommy Casatelli was a rookie fireman who didn't feel well that morning, so he asked to switch places with another firefighter, Brian McAleese. When their company arrived at the towers that day, McAleese went into the building while Casatelli stayed back with the truck. When the building fell, McAleese and three other men in their company were killed. Casatelli opens up about his struggles with survivor's guilt despite assurances from the family and widow of McAleese. Brothers: On Holy Ground is narrated by former New York Daily News columnist Pete Hamill.
