Brum: Stunt Bike Rescue and Other Stories is a 2004 compilation of the live action comedy series for children from England. Brum follows the wacky adventures of a small but brave car (a late 1920s Austin 7 Chummy convertible) as it saves the grownup residents of Big Town, who are always going their silly mishaps. This compilation features the following five episodes: Stunt Bike Rescue, Chasing Balloons, Runaway Train, Gorilla Caper, and Splash and Grab. Brum was produced by Ragdoll Productions for HIT Entertainment and was first broadcast in 1991. Its first director and writer was Tom Poole along with the producer Anne Wood. It was later directed and written by Vic Finch, Paul Leather, Emma Lindley, Brian Simmons, Nigel P Harris, and various others. It was narrated originally by Toyah Willcox and then by Tom Wright. All the actors in Brum did not speak. Instead they mimed and the story was propelled by off screen narration. This style allowed it to be rebroadcast in many parts of the world in various languages such as Italian, Dutch, Hebrew, Croatian, Arabic, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Swedish.moreless
