Brutal Massacre: A Comedy is a 2007 movie that showcases some of the best elements of two different genres, horror and comedy. Harry Penderecki (David Naughton) was once hailed as a budding genius of the horror film industry. But lately, he's been slowly losing the attention and respect of his audience. Penderecki hasn't made a movie in a long time, and his most recent movies were flops. Shot in a "mockumentary" style, the film follows Penderecki as he directs what is his last shot at becoming a master of horror. Despite Penderecki's best efforts, his upcoming movie, "Brutal Massacre," seems doomed to one comical disaster after another. With a cast that includes a beautiful exhibitionist Tanya (Michelle DiBenedetti), who has no problem undressing but isn't sure about acting, and ditsy diva Amy (Emily Brownell), as well as his faithful but weary film crew, Penderecki finds himself growing increasingly uncertain of his chances of finishing the film. A clever movie within a movie, the plot offers something for horror fans, comedy buffs and filmmakers.moreless
