Bullet Boy is a British drama that was released in 2004. The setting of the film is East London, where eighteen year-old Ricky (Ashley Walters) is met by his best friend Wisdom (Leon Black) upon his release from incarceration as a young offender. They make their way back to Ricky's Hackney home and the hero-worship of his younger brother Curtis (Luke Fraser). Although Ricky attempts to stay on the right side of the law and out of trouble, he can't help being drawn into a confrontation in defense of Wisdom and the situation quickly escalates out of control. In an attempt to protect her younger son, Ricky's mother Beverly (Claire Perkins) asks him to leave the family home. With only his friends to help him, can Ricky survive the violence of life on the streets? Will Curtis follow in his much-loved brother's footsteps, or is he smart enough to make different choices?
