Movie Summary

Paul Hunter
Bulletproof Monk is an action-packed Paul Hunter film about a Monk on a quest to find his replacement. The Monk (Chow Yun-Fat) has long been charged as the guardian of an ancient scroll holding more power than anyone could imagine. However, the time has now come that the scroll be placed in the hands of a new guardian. The Monk travels to New York City where he finds a young kid named Kar (Seann William Scott). The Monk quickly learns that mentoring the new guardian will not be an easy task. Kar is a small-time thief and street-kid whose last concern is protecting an ancient scroll. Kar's hesitation is forcefully placed aside to save the world when he decides to help his mentor keep a long-time seeker of the scroll from getting to it. This martial arts trained team uses their unique fighting skills to keep the scroll out of the wrong hands.
